- High speed connections will only work on Macs with a 68030 or greater.
- Make sure you have a Hardware Handshaking cable.
- Make sure you are using the modem port on the Mac.
- Make sure you have selected "CTS Only" for Hardware Handshaking.
- Make sure you are using the "at&f1" init string.

- What I beleive is happening is that you have a form or handshaking other
- than 'CTS only' and your software is causing DTR to go low and this is
- causing the modem to think the connection has been dropped and is hanging
- up.
